Russia’s army has attacked downtown Kharkiv with missiles, Oleh Synehubov, the local governor, reported on Telegram.

“Enemy missiles hit downtown Kharkiv. Preliminary data indicates 6 to 10 S-300 missiles were used. Data on casualties and damage will be clarified,” he wrote.

Ihor Terekhov, the local mayor, says an industrial facility was targeted. He reported six missiles hitting the city, and a fire that followed the attacks.

Local Telegram channels have posted videos with sounds of explosions heard.
