The Russian army has shelled eight localities in Ukraine’s Donetsk region over the past 24 hours, the National Police of Ukraine informed on Facebook. There are reports of killed and injured civilians.

The settlements and towns of Bakhmut, Toretsk, Avdiivka, Soledar, Mykolaivka, New York, Netailove and Tetyanivka came under attack. The National Police of Ukraine report that 27 buildings were damaged in the attack, including 21 residential buildings.

Grad multiple rocket launcher systems, artillery, tanks and small arms were used in the attacks. Ukraine’s National Police launched criminal proceedings over the violation of the laws of war.

Yesterday, Donetsk regional governor Pavlo Kyrylenko informed that three civilians had been killed in attacks on the region over the past 24 hours. Two people were killed in Avdiivka, and one in Soledar. Four civilians were injured in the attacks, he added.
