Ukraine and Russia once again exchange bodies of killed soldiers

Russia and Ukraine have exchanged bodies of killed soldiers in the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine, reported the Ukrainian Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.

The bodies of 46 soldiers were returned to Ukraine, 21 of them were Azovstal steelworks’ defenders. The Ukrainian side did not clarify how many bodies were returned to the Russian Federation. The representatives of Russia have not yet officially commented on this topic.

Last week, Ukraine was given back the bodies of 35 killed Ukrainian soldiers. The first exchange took place in the beginning of June—160 Ukrainian bodies were exchanged to 160 Russian bodies near the front-line of the Zaporizhzhia region.
