23 civilians were killed and 28 were wounded by Russia’s strike on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, Oleksandr Starukh, the local governor, says.

“We know of 23 killed and 28 wounded as of now; all civilians,” he wrote on Telegram.

Russia aimed at a convoy of buses, he says. “Some people were queueing up to enter the temporarily occupied territory to pick their relatives up from there and to deliver some aid,” Starukh reports.
