A local woman was killed by Russia’s missile attack on Shevchenkove near Kupiansk in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, Oleh Synehubov, the local governor, reports.

“The enemy executed a strike yesterday evening using S-300 missiles upon the vicinity of Shevchenkove in the Kupiansk district. The missile hit a 2-storey apartment block. A nearby house was also damaged. Unfortunately, a woman of 38 years was killed and at least two more people were injured.

The regional prosecutor’s office says the woman in question was Olena Maslych, a prosecutor working in Shevchenkove. “Olena has been devotedly carrying out her duties from the first day the area was liberated, documenting Russia’s armed aggression,” reads the statement.

Russia’s Defence Ministry has reported “hitting command points of Ukraine’s armed forces” in Shevchenkove, Lyman, Komyshuvakha, and Preobrazhenka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
