In the past 24 hours, five people were killed in Russian army attacks on the part of the Donetsk region controlled by Ukraine, head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko reported.

Three people died in Kostyantynivka, 14 injured, Kyrylenko notes. Moreover, seven blocks of flats, seven garages, and a hotel were damaged.

One person died, one more was injured in Bakhmut. One person was killed in the village of Paraskoviivka located near Bakhmut, the regional chief writes.

The town of Kurakhove was shelled four times, Kyrylenko adds. Seven apartment blocks, ten private houses, as well as medical buildings were damaged. An agricultural facility was hit in Konstiantynopolske. Residential houses were damaged in Toretsk and New-York in Ukraine’s Donetsk region.

Moreover, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Bohoyavlenka, and Prechystovka were targeted in the Volnovakha direction, Avdiivka in the Donetsk direction, and Zvanovka, Pereizne, Seversk, and Serebrianka were hit in the Lysychansk direction.

Yesterday, the Russian Defence Ministry accused the Ukrainian army of striking a district hospital in Novoaidar, located in the part of Ukraine’s Luhansk region currently under Russia’s control. The attack killed 14 and injured 24 patients and medical staff, the ministry said in a statement.
