Ukraine’s Kharkiv shelled. Mayor says residential building hit

Preliminary reports suggest that people were injured in the most recent shelling attack on Ukraine’s Kharkiv, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said.

“The city’s Kyivsky District is under attack. A residential building hit. The building is ablaze. Serious damage. Reports suggest that there are injured people but it needs to be verified,” he noted.
Earlier, regional Governor Oleh Synyehubov pleaded with locals to stay in shelters. According to him, an S-300 missile landed on the residential building. Emergency services are working at the site.
