Russia’s Belgorod region located on the border with Ukraine has followed the Bryansk region in imposing an indefinite yellow terrorist threat level, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced.

“A civilian industrial facility in Borisovka was attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces at night. The fire has been localised, it is being put out now. <…> It is absolutely clear that we need to keep the yellow terrorist threat level going. Therefore, it will be indefinite starting from today,” he noted.

A serious blaze broke out in Borisovka, Belgorod region, following a Ukrainian attack. Local social media report that the fire likely broke out at an oil depot.

“The Ukrainian forces have shelled the Borisovsky district. Projectiles landed on a civilian industrial plant. Preliminary reports suggest that no one was affected: people were timely evacuated to be at a safe distance,” Gladkov noted.

Yesterday, Russia’s Bryansk region also imposed an indefinite yellow terrorist threat level. This region has become the first in the country to do so.

The Belgorod region is the most affected by Ukraine’s shelling. Novaya Gazeta Europe counted official statements by the governor which show that more than 50 towns and villages were targeted by attacks in the region.
