A North Ossetia court fines local Russian man Vladimir Zagalov 30,000 rubles (€360) after discovering photos of him attending anti-war protests in Tbilisi, Georgia, Caucasus.Realities reports.

According to the report, local law enforcement agents found photos taken at anti-war rallies in Tbilisi on Zagalov’s social media profiles. Zagalov is pictured in one of them holding a small poster with the “Stop the war and violence” slogan written on it.

Despite the fact that the activist was tried in absentia and has three dependent children, Zagalov was found guilty of “discrediting the Russian army”. Zagalov reportedly has been residing in Tbilisi since September 2022.
