Maxim Zubarev, the former head of Yakymivka, a settlement in the Zaporizhzhia region, was injured in a recent car explosion in Melitopol, the Russia-installed local administration reports.

“Zubarev’s condition is assessed by doctors as critical,” the administration’s Telegram channel says.

Andrey Siguta, the occupation head of the local district, has referred to the incident as a “terror attack”.

On March 14, the occupying “authorities” of Melitopol reported that a car explosion had killed Ivan Tkach, the head of the local transport enterprise who began to cooperate with Russia after the city was occupied.

On March 23, another explosion happened in Melitopol. The occupying “authorities” reported that a police officer had been wounded.
