Occupation authorities: at least one person killed, 13 injured following shelling of Donetsk

Ukraine’s Armed Forces have shelled the Voroshylovskyi district of Donetsk, which has resulted in at least one person being killed and 13 injured, Russia-appointed head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk “people’s republic” Denis Pushilin says.
“In the middle of the day, when there were many people outside, the enemy carried out a MRL strike on the centre of Donetsk. As of now, we have information about one killed and 13 injured civilians,” he writes.
Pushilin notes that two holidays are being celebrated in the city today — Annunciation and anniversary of the Donetsk “people’s republic” being proclaimed.
The representative office of the self-proclaimed republic in the Joint Centre of Control and Coordination on issues relating to “Ukraine’s war crimes” clarified that an elderly woman born in 1941 was killed in the shelling, nine men and four women were injured.
Russia-appointed Mayor of Donetsk Alexey Kulemzin writes that parts of the street market were damaged in the shelling, and a residential building was hit — which damaged a gas pipeline and the cars that were parked nearby.
According to the “mayor”, five rockets were launched at the city from a multiple rocket launcher system.
The Voroshylovskyi district of Donetsk gets regularly shelled. On 19 February, it was reported that one person was killed and 11 injured in a shelling.
