Russia nationalises apartment owned by Ukraine president’s wife

The Russian authorities in occupied Crimea are set to nationalise an apartment of Olena Zelenska, wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in Yalta, Crimean head Sergey Aksyonov reported.
“Large vineyards, bank institutions, apartment of drug addict Zelensky, and other assets,” Aksyonov said.
According to him, the nationalisation effort will seize a building in Simferopol that belonged to the “extremist Majlis outlawed in Russia”.
In late October 2022, Crimean head Sergey Aksyonov instructed to nationalise the property of “individuals linked to the Kyiv regime”. At the time, it was reported that RusLine Co, Bakhchysaray Stroyindustriya integrated industrial plant, and the Zaliv shipyard would be nationalised.
The Russian authorities in winter seized around 700 assets belonging to Ukrainians.
