The UK has added 14 people and entities to its list of anti-Russian sanctions.

The update includes:

  • Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Education
  • Olga Lubimova, Minister of Culture
  • Marat Kumpilov, head of the Adygea Republic
  • Vladimir Solodov, head of the Kamchatka region
  • Vitaly Ganchev, head of the collaborationist administration of the Kharkiv region
  • RT journalist Anton Krasovsky
  • Political columnist Timofey Sergeytsev
  • Artek, an international children’s centre in Crimea

Earlier, British billionaire Richard Branson called on the UK to lift sanctions on Russian businessman Oleg Tinkov, who spoke out against the war in Ukraine and renounced his Russian citizenship in 2022.
