Thousands of people in Russia and abroad lined up near polling stations and embassies on Sunday to cast their votes in a campaign designed to show the mass turnout of opposition voters.

Noon Against Putin, an action initially proposed by exiled politician Maxim Reznik and advocated by opposition leader Alexey Navalny from his cell shortly before his death, encouraged Russians to head to the polls at noon on Sunday, the final day of Russia’s three-day presidential election.

Novaya Europe has collected photos of Russians participating in the Noon Against Putin protest around the world.
