Вечером 31 декабря мы с мужем взяли тазик салата оливье, банку с трудом раздобытой здесь, на чужбине, красной икры сомнительного происхождения, маленький колючий кипарис в горшке, разряженный под новогоднюю елочку, бутылку настоящего шампанского из французской провинции Шампань, упаковку бенгальских огней, завернутые в красивую бумагу подарки и много собачьих игрушек — ночь предстояла длинная, а с нами еще и собака Умка, — и отправились в швейцарскую деревню Вильхинген, славную своими виноградниками.
